1. Once both legs are cleaned I work free the innards area and tail area. There are two oil gland at the base of the tail which are carefully removed. After the tail is cleaned I clip away the last vertebrae and free the tail from the muscle structure.
2. With the back part is now completely free, I gently work my way over the back. The wings are clipped at the upper arm. As seen in the picture the broken wing is obviously shorter than the intact one. The broken part that has been removed will be re-sculpted later out of metal wiring and clay. Like the leg bones, the wing bones are completely cleaned of all muscle tissue.
